Issued 3:00 AM NST 19 November 2018 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 978 mb located over the northern
Atlantic Ocean.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 984 mb located south of
Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday approaching trough located southeast of
Nova Scotia.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday ridge located southeast of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:46 AM NST 19 November 2018 An intense low pressure system over the North Atlantic will drift
slowly northward as a ridge approaches from the west. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies over northeastern waters will gradually
diminish today as the low departs.

A trough of low pressure will approach Newfoundland from the
southwest on Tuesday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop
over southeastern waters on Tuesday as the trough approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle,
Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
