the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:21 PM NDT 9 October 2024 A trough of low pressure approaching the marine district from thewest will slow considerably as it approaches eastern waters overnight
and Thursday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will continue to
spread across the district ahead of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island
Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
