62.0W.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday Hurricane TEDDY 952 mb located at 39.5N
63.7W.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located from the
Maritimes to the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM NDT 21 September 2020 Hurricane Teddy is forecast to approach maritime waters overnight and
move south of Nova Scotia Tuesday evening, spreading gale force east
to southeasterlies over Southern Newfoundland waters on Tuesday ahead
of it. Hurricane Teddy will then transition to a post-tropical storm
as it moves northeastward across Cape Breton Wednesday afternoon
before tracking along the west coast of Newfoundland Wednesday night.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.

Large waves and pounding surf, especially along the South Coast of
Newfoundland from the Burin Peninsula to Port aux Basques can be
expected beginning Tuesday evening.

At 6:30 P.M. NDT, hurricane Teddy was located near latitude 33.2
north and longitude 62.0 west, about 150 nautical miles
east-northeast of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at
80 knots and central pressure at 958 MB. Teddy is moving north at 20
knots.
