Issued 8:00 PM NDT 22 April 2024 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 990 mb located over central Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located over Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over the
southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM NDT 22 April 2024 A low pressure system over Central Labrador will track northeast
across Labrador tonight before diminishing into a trough over the
Labrador Sea by Tuesday evening. Gale force west to southwesterly
winds will spread across northern and western waters tonight and
Tuesday with this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank,
and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
