Issued 8:00 PM NDT 15 October 2026 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 984 mb located over central
Funk Island Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday low 975 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located over western Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM NDT 15 October 2026 A low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will deepen as it tracks
to lie east of Belle Isle Bank by Friday evening. Gale to storm force
southerlies ahead of the low will shift to gale to storm force
westerlies to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
