By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the southwestern Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:11 PM NDT 27 April 2024 A ridge of high pressure will remain nearly stationary over
Newfoundland as a trough of low pressure slowly approaches from the
Southeastern Grand Banks. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will
spread between these two features tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand
Banks.
