By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday low 992 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday departing ridge located over Belle Isle
Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST Friday trough located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM NST 22 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Grand Banks will transition into a
low pressure system as it moves to lie over Funk Island Bank Friday
morning. Strong to gale force southerlies are expected south of this
system tonight and Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks.
