Issued 10:00 AM NDT 26 September 2018 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 995 mb located over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 968 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.

By 10:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough from 968 mb low located over
the West Coast of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:39 AM NDT 26 September 2018 A trough of low pressure approaching from the west is forecast to
cross the district on Thursday. Strong to gale force south to
southwesterlies will develop ahead of the trough and diminish to
moderate to strong west to southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, the Gulf waters, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
