located at 41.6N 59.6W.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday dissipating Post-tropical Storm Bill
1006 mb located at 44.7N 55.9W.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line east-west
over Banquereau.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line east-west over
Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low 1002 mb located over
the Quebec Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:58 PM NDT 15 June 2021 At 6:30 PM NDT, the center of tropical storm Bill was located near
latitude 41.6 north, longitude 59.6 west. About 290 nautical miles
southeast of Halifax. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 31
knots and central pressure at 998 MB. Bill is moving toward the
northeast near 50 knots.

Tropical storm Bill is expected to transition into a post-tropical
storm tonight before weakening into a trough as it passes near the
Avalon Peninsula Wednesday morning. Winds over the southern marine
district will increase to strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead
of the remnants of this tropical storm, and shift to strong to gale
force southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
