By 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 970 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over southern Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located east of the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:57 AM NST 14 January 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue tracking
eastward today. Strong to gale force westerlies to southwesterlies
will gradually diminish today as the low moves away and weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle
Bank.
