Issued 3:00 AM AST 24 February 2024 Today Tonight and Sunday At 3:00 a.m. AST today trough located over the southwestern Marine
District.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today trough located from Cabot Strait to East
Scotian Slope.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located east of the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Sunday ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over the southern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:39 AM AST 24 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over the southwestern waters will move
eastward across the marine district today. Gale force southerlies
ahead of the trough shift to strong to gale force northerlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen and
Anticosti - southwestern half.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
