Issued 7:47 PM ADT 14 May 2026 A low pressure system near Georges Bank will track northeastwardacross southern waters tonight and Friday to lie near Cabot Strait
Friday evening. Strong to gale force easterly winds north of the low
shift to strong to gale force southerlies to its south.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait and Gulf-Magdalen
