At 3:00 A.M. ADT, hurricane Isaias was located near 34.7 degrees
north and 78.1 degrees west, about 28 nautical miles northwest of
Wilmington, North Carolina. Isaias has a minimum central pressure of
989 MB and maximum sustained winds of 70 knots.
Isaias is currently moving north-northeastward at 23 knots, and is
expected to pass west of New Brunswick and into Southern Quebec early
Thursday morning. Isaias could possibly bring marginal gales to
westernmost waters on Wednesday.
