Issued 3:00 AM NDT 17 May 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 986 mb located over eastern Funk
Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 984 mb located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough located over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM NDT 17 May 2026 A low pressure system over Eastern Funk Island Bank will move to lie
east of Belle Isle Bank this afternoon. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in the wake of the low will diminish today as the low
departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank - southeastern half, and
the Grand Banks.
