over the southwestern Grand Banks.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday ridge located over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:59 AM NDT 28 April 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Grand Banks will move westwardacross southern waters today. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure
will remain nearly stationary over Newfoundland. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies west of the trough veer to strong easterlies as it
passes.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and
Southwestern Grand Banks.
