Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 976 mb located south of
Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located south of the Maritimes.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line east-west over
the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM NDT 18 March 2019 A low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will continue
eastward today. Gale force westerly winds over eastern and northern
waters are expected to diminish this afternoon as the low moves off
and a ridge approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank and the Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Southwest Coast, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and the Funk Island Bank.
