By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 973 mb located over Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing trough located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today approaching trough located over the Quebec
Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 5:07 AM NDT 23 September 2018 An intense low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will remain
quasistationary and slowly weaken tonight and Monday. An associated
trough of low pressure over the Northern Grand Banks will move east
of the marine district this morning. Gale force southerlies ahead of
the trough will shift to gale to storm force west to southwesterlies
behind it.

A second trough of low pressure will cross Newfoundland tonight and
Monday morning. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the
trough shift to strong northwesterly behind it.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle
Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank and Northern
Grand Bank.
