of the Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 989 mb located over Cape Cod.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday low 996 mb located south of Nova Scotia.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

Issued 3:43 PM NDT 16 April 2021 A low pressure system over the Southeastern Grand Banks willgradually weaken tonight before departing to the southeast on
Saturday. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds over southern
waters will diminish to moderate to strong tonight as the low
departs.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, Northern Grand
Banks, Southeastern Grand Banks - northern half, and Southwestern
Grand Banks.
