Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:42 AM NDT 26 March 2019 A low east of Belle Isle Bank will continue to move northeastward
today to lie southeast of Greenland this afternoon. Strong to gale
force westerlies will continue today in its wake.
A trough will move to lie over the Southern Grand Banks this
afternoon and will remain quasi-stationary for the remainder of the
forecast period. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop
north of this feature Wednesday morning.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Southern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Strait of Belle Isle, South Coast,
East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Southern Grand
