By 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 971 mb located over Prince Edward
Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:52 AM NST 23 November 2024 A low pressure system southeast of Cape Cod will rapidly intensify asit tracks northward to lie over Nova Scotia by this afternoon.
Gale to storm force east to southeasterlies will develop ahead of the
low today. Winds will gradually diminish to strong to gale force east
to northeasterlies as the low slowly approaches Newfoundland late
Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southwest Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
