Issued 3:00 AM NST 5 February 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 964 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today low 945 mb located east of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching high located southwest of
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM NST 5 February 2025 An intense low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will move
to lie east of Greenland by this afternoon. Strong to gale force west
to northwesterlies are expected today behind the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
