By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:58 AM NDT 17 May 2026 A low pressure system east of funk island will continue moving away
from the marine district today. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in the wake of the low will diminish as the low
departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank - southeastern half and Northern Grand Banks.
