Issued 9:49 AM NDT 14 April 2026 A low pressure system over the Avalon Peninsula will track eastwardacross the Northern Grand Banks today. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies over the Southern Grand Banks will diminish tonight
as a ridge of high pressure builds in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Southern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle
Bank.
