Issued 3:00 AM NDT 12 March 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 995 mb located near Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 996 mb located over southern
Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located from Labrador Coast to the
Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM NDT 12 March 2025 A low pressure system near Anticosti Island will cross Southeastern
Labrador today to lie over the South Labrador Sea by Thursday
morning. Strong to gale force southerlies to westerlies are expected
over western waters today south of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - western half and Gulf waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, East Coast - north of Cape
St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
