Issued 10:00 AM NST 16 February 2019 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the northern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located over Nova Scotia.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM NST 16 February 2019 A trough of low pressure over Nova Scotia will move to lie
Over eastern waters Sunday morning then move out of the marine
district by Sunday afternoon. Gale to storm force southeasterlies
will develop ahead of the trough then shift to gale force westerlies
behind it.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au Port, Southwest Coast, East
Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
