By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday departing low 970 mb located northeast of
Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
western Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
New Brunswick.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:57 PM NST 25 February 2021 A low pressure system over Southern Newfoundland will deepen as it
continues northeastwards tonight and moves to lie east of the marine
district on Friday. Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies
south of the low will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies
in its wake on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Northeast

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle
Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
