northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:56 AM NDT 27 April 2024 A ridge of high pressure is expected to remain stationary overNewfoundland as a trough of low pressure slowly approaches from
southeast of the Grand Banks. Strong to gale force northeasterlies
will develop between these two features as the trough enters the
Grand Banks later today.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the
Southern Grand Banks.
