Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:53 PM NST 28 February 2021 A low pressure system south of the Avalon will move to lie east ofthe Grand Banks Monday evening. Southeasterly gales ahead of the low
will shift to gale force west to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and
south, and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
