northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:13 PM NST 11 November 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach from the west today and move
to lie over Newfoundland Tuesday afternoon. Strong to gale force
south to southeasterlies are expected across all waters ahead of this
trough. Strong northerlies can be expected over western waters in the
wake of the trough late Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
