Issued 8:00 PM NST 20 January 2021 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 978 mb located over southern Labrador
Coast.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday dissipating low 998 mb located over
northern Labrador.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 990 mb located south of Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Thursday low 973 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM NST 20 January 2021 An intensifying low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will track
across the Grand Banks on Thursday. Gale to storm force east to
northeasterly winds will develop ahead of the low and shift to gale
to storm force west to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for South Coast, East
Coast, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast, Northeast
Coast, and Belle Isle Bank - southwestern half.
