Wind diminishing to northwest 35 near midnight and to northwest 25 overnight. Wind diminishing to northwest 15 Wednesday morning and to light Wednesday afternoon. Wind becoming southwest 15 Wednesday evening.

Rain changing to flurries this afternoon and ending overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in flurries.

Temperatures plus 10 falling to minus 1 overnight.

Issued 3:00 AM AST 24 November 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today intensifying low 990 mb located over
Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday low 958 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.

By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday high located over Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM AST 24 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system over Anticosti Island will track
over Southeastern Labrador today. Gale to storm force south to
southeast winds ahead of the low will shift to gale to storm force
northwesterlies in its wake. Cold air and strong winds behind this
system will bring favourable conditions for freezing spray over
northernmost waters.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters. A freezing
spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
