Wind southeast 35 knots increasing to southeast 40 early this evening with gusts to 60 in the Wreckhouse area. Wind becoming southeast 50 late overnight with gusts to 75 in the Wreckhouse area. Wind diminishing to west 40 Tuesday morning then veering to northwest 45 Tuesday afternoon.

Rain this afternoon tonight and Tuesday morning. Flurries Tuesday late in the day. Visibility 1 mile or less in flurries.

Issued 3:30 PM AST 23 November 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. AST today deepening low 1004 mb located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday low 974 mb located over southeastern
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM AST 23 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system over Maine will track over the
northern marine district tonight and across Southeastern Labrador on
Tuesday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the low will
shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Over northern and eastern waters, gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies will shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies and
colder air in the wake of this system.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters. A freezing
spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
