northeast-southwest over the southwestern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Saturday high 1029 mb located near the Great
Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday high 1027 mb located over New Brunswick.

Issued 3:12 PM ADT 23 August 2019 At 12:00 noon ADT, tropical depression Chantal was located near
36.6 north 40.8 west. Maximum sustained winds were 25 knots.
Chantal was moving south southeastward at 6 knots, with a central
pressure of 1012 MB.

Chantal is not expected to pose a threat to the Atlantic Canada
forecast waters.
