Issued 3:30 PM ADT 21 August 2019 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located over the southern Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located over southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday trough located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to New England.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday trough located from the Gulf of
St. Lawrence to the Gulf of Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:19 PM ADT 21 August 2019 At noon ADT today, tropical storm Chantal was located near 40.2
North 51.6 west. Maximum sustained winds were 35 knots. Chantal was
moving eastward at about 18 knots. The central pressure of Chantal
was 1009 MB. Chantal is forecast to remain a tropical storm with
maximum sustained winds of 35 knots.

Chantal is not expected to pose a threat to the marine district.
