Issued 3:30 PM ADT 22 October 2018 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing trough located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today building ridge located southwest of the
Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday ridge located south of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1010 mb located north of the Great
Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday deepening low 1010 mb located near
Cape Cod.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:13 PM ADT 22 October 2018 Strong westerly winds will persist into Tuesday over northern waters
in the wake of a trough of low pressure east of Newfoundland.
Mariners in the Gulf - Magdalen area are advised that conditions are
somewhat favourable for the formation of waterspouts this afternoon
behind this feature.

A second low pressure system will approach the district from the west
on Tuesday and begin to rapidly intensify near Cape Cod on Tuesday
evening before turning to the northeast. Strong to gale force
southerly winds will develop ahead of this system over western waters
late on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank and West Scotian Slope.
