Issued 3:30 PM ADT 20 October 2018 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 982 mb located over central Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Sunday trough from 988 mb low located over central
Labrador Coast.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough from low located from Cabot Strait
to Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough from low located from Newfoundland
to Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM ADT 20 October 2018 A trough of low pressure from Quebec will move to lie over
Newfoundland Sunday. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of
the trough will become moderate to strong north to northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and the eastern half
Of Anticosti.
