By 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough from 982 mb low located over Labrador
extending southwestward.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough from low located from Cabot Strait
to Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough from low located from Newfoundland
to Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:00 AM ADT 20 October 2018 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will approach the Maritimes
today and move to lie over Newfoundland Sunday. Strong to gale
Force southerly winds developing over western waters
This morning will spread to eastern waters by this afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen, and the eastern half of Anticosti.
