Issued 3:00 AM ADT 17 October 2018 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over the western Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing ridge located over the
southeastern Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight deepening low 995 mb located northwest
of Anticosti Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 980 mb located over eastern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM ADT 17 October 2018 A low pressure system will approach the district from the west
tonight and deepen as it moves to lie near Eastern Newfoundland
Thursday evening. Gale force northwesterlies will develop over most
waters in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Cabot Strait and Anticosti-eastern half.
