Issued 10:00 AM NDT 8 August 2022 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over southern Labrador Sea.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing trough located east of Funk
Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located near The Bonavista Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating trough located over the
southern Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday approaching low located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:58 AM NDT 8 August 2022 A trough of low pressure approaching from the Labrador Sea will swing
across northern waters today before departing to the east tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies in the vicinity of the trough
will diminish to moderate northwesterlies as it moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
