Issued 3:30 PM NDT 8 October 2026 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over the East Coast of
the U.S.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday trough located over the East Coast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NDT 8 October 2026 A trough of low pressure over the East Coast of the U.S.
Will continue to track eastward before crossing Newfoundland on
Friday. Strong to gale force southerlies will spread across most
waters, ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk
Island Bank.
