Issued 3:00 AM NST 13 December 2017 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 984 mb located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday low 963 mb located over western Labrador.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday approaching low located southwest of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM NST 13 December 2017 An intensifying low pressure system over Maine will move to lie over
Western Labrador tonight, then remain nearly stationary on Thursday.
Gale force southeasterlies will spread over most waters today ahead
of the low, and shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies in its
wake.

On Thursday a second low approaching from the southwest will track
over the Southwestern Grand Banks in the evening. Southerly gales are
expected ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
