By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Monday deepening low 999 mb located near Cape Cod.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 988 mb located south of the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM NST 16 December 2018 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Monday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies are expected to develop over
southern waters late in the day on Monday ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, and the Southern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that the freezing spray warning has
been ended.
