Issued 8:00 PM NST 28 February 2020 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line east-west over
the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday quasi-stationary trough located on a
line east-west over the Great Northern Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NST 28 February 2020 A trough of low pressure over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland
will gradually move north to lie on an east-west line over the Great
Northern Peninsula tonight. Gale force northeasterlies ahead of the
trough will weaken to strong east to northeasterlies throughout the
forecast period. In the wake of the trough, strong to gale force
westerlies are forecast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
strait of beele isle, Northeast Gulf, South Coast, East Coast and the
Grand Banks.
