Flurries changing to snow this evening then to rain Wednesday morning. Fog banks forming late overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow and in fog banks.

Freezing spray warning in effect.

Freezing spray over northwestern sections late this morning.

Temperatures minus 5 to zero rising to plus 2 this evening.

Issued 10:00 AM NST 20 November 2018 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located over the Southwest Coast
of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over eastern Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 1003 mb located southwest
of Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday deepening low 979 mb located over
northwestern Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 20 November 2018 A trough of low pressure over the Southwest Coast will stall over
Eastern Newfoundland later today and Wednesday. Strong to gale force
southerlies will spread across southeastern waters today ahead of the
trough.

A low pressure system will approach the marine district from the
southwest tonight before crossing Western Newfoundland on Wednesday.
Gale force northeasterlies will develop on Wednesday ahead of the
low, with gale force west to southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
