northeast-southwest over the Great Northern Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday dissipating trough located over Funk
Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 965 mb located northeast
of Funk Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday departing low 960 mb located south of
Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line east-west over
northern Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over southern Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NST 9 December 2018 A trough of low pressure extending from the Great Northern Peninsula
to an intense low pressure system northeast of Funk Island Bank will
dissipate over Funk Island Bank overnight while the low slowly drifts
away. Strong to gale force northwesterlies associated with these
features will diminish on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank, and the
Grand Banks.
