Issued 3:30 PM NST 21 February 2019 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 954 mb located east of Greenland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday weakening low 984 mb located east of
Greenland.

By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday approaching trough located over southern
Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday weakening ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NST 21 February 2019 Strong to gale force northwesterlies will continue to diminish
tonight between an intense low pressure system east of Greenland and
an approaching ridge of high pressure to the west. Over the Belle
Isle Bank, strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected to
redevelop on Friday as a trough approaches from the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Northeast Coast
which are mainly ice covered and the Southeastern Grand Banks.
