Issued 8:00 PM NDT 16 October 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 975 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing low 970 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 996 mb located over Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday low 979 mb located over northern Belle
Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over western Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NDT 16 October 2026 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will move to lie south
of Greenland overnight tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
in the wake of the low will diminish tonight as the low moves away.

A second low approaching from the southwest will cross the district
on Saturday. Strong to gale force southerlies to southeasterlies will
develop ahead of the low tonight before shifting to gale to storm
force westerlies to southwesterlies as it passes on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
