northeast-southwest over Anticosti Island.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday low 998 mb located south of Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 993 mb located south of East Scotian
Slope.

Issued 3:20 PM ADT 23 October 2024 Gale force southerly winds will develop this evening over Gulf of St.Lawrence waters ahead of an approaching trough and diminish Thursday
morning in its wake.
On Thursday, gale to possibly storm force northeast winds will
develop north of another low pressure system that will track towards
the slope waters. Gale force southeast winds are expected east of the
low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank - southern half, West Scotian Slope, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Banquereau - southeastern half, Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half,
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
