Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:50 AM AST 8 February 2026 A low pressure system south of East Scotian Slope will continue totrack south of the marine district today to lie southeast of the
Grand Banks by this evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies
over southern waters will gradually diminish late in the day today.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwest shore, LaHave Bank,
eastern shore, Fourchu, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
