Issued 3:30 PM AST 17 December 2017 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. AST today departing low 958 mb located east of
Labrador.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Monday ridge located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:00 PM AST 17 December 2017 An intense low pressure system east of Labrador will maintain strong
to gale force northwesterlies over most of the district this evening.
These winds will subside overnight as a ridge of high pressure
approaches the district from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern
shore, Sable, Fourchu, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters.
