Issued 10:00 AM ADT 25 May 2018 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 1000 mb located over Prince Edward
Island.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1001 mb located over the Avalon
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:01 AM ADT 25 May 2018 A trough of low pressure will drift across the Gulf of St. Lawrence
today. Increasing southwesterly winds will reach strong to gale force
over southern waters this afternoon ahead of the trough. Winds will
gradually diminish on Saturday as an area of low pressure develops
within the trough and then moves eastward towards Newfoundland.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian
Fan.
