Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:48 AM ADT 2 April 2020 A low pressure system south of West Scotian Slope will approach the
district today and stall over Southern West Scotian Slope before
drifting slowly westward into Southern Georges Bank tonight. The low
will then move southward away from the district later on Friday.
Strong to gale force easterlies will strengthen to gale to near storm
force northeasterlies over most of the district today and then
gradually diminish late on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Chaleur - Miscou,
and Anticosti - northwestern half.
