Issued 10:00 AM ADT 18 September 2021 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today Tropical Storm Odette 1005 mb located at
38.3N 67.8W.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday Post-tropical Storm Odette 991 mb located
at 43.0N 56.9W.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:41 AM ADT 18 September 2021 As of 10:00 AM tropical storm Odette is at 38.3 degrees north, 68.7
degrees west or about 188 nautical miles south-southeast of
Nantucket. Maximum winds are 40 knots, central pressure is 1005
millibars and the system is moving northeast at 13 knots.

Tropical storm Odette is currently southwest of Georges Bank and will
track along slope waters to lie over Laurentian Fan on Sunday.
Storm to gale force southeasterly winds will increase to gale to
storm force northerlies in its wake over eastern waters. Winds may
gust to hurricane force over eastern waters late in the day.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan - western
half. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank - southern half,
West Scotian Slope - southern half, eastern shore, Fourchu,
Laurentian Fan - eastern half, and Cabot Strait.
